You are at a shop with your friends. You want to buy two things, but you do not know which ones are good yet. One person says they will write a list before they go into the store. They want to be sure they have enough money and time. This person likes having a clear plan. It helps them feel safe and ready for anything that happens.

Someone picking whatever looks good right now.

Another person says they will just pick up whatever looks good right now. They do not write a list first. This person likes to be free and relaxed. If they see something nice on the shelf, they take it without thinking about a plan. They say that sometimes you find better things when you do not think too much.

If you plan everything first, you might miss a good idea. Maybe the best thing is in the back of the store, not on your list. If you start without a plan, you might get too many things. You will have no money left at the end. Both ways have good points and bad points for your day.
