The Man Who Changed Time
Einstein showed that time does not tick at the same speed for everyone.
In 1905, a young man sat in a patent office. He was not fixing machines or testing bulbs. Instead, he used paper and pencil to solve a huge problem about light.
This man was Albert Einstein. He worked in Switzerland and did not have a university job yet. Most people thought he was just an office clerk. But his mind was working on physics, the science of how nature works.
He published a new idea called special relativity. This theory changed everything we know about space and time. Before him, people thought time was the same for all places. Einstein showed that is not true. If you move very fast, time moves more slowly for you than for someone who stays still.
His most famous line is E = mc². It says mass and energy are the same thing. A tiny bit of matter can make a huge amount of power. This idea helps us understand stars and nuclear energy today.
We still use his ideas every day, even if we do not notice. Your phone uses technology based on his work. He proved that the universe is stranger and more flexible than we thought.
